Busy Busy Weekend

The last few weeks have been very busy for the Walker's. It all started when Ryan and I decided that Landri's playroom needed to be painted...right away! :) We looked and looked for a unique way to paint her room...and we finally found it! We had so much fun!

Then...I decided that I wanted to redo my living room. Yes..I had a week to do it before we were having company! So...I got a new green and brown chair and had to paint everything so it would match! I worked on that project every night for a week straight!

Finally on Friday everything was almost complete! Ryan had to run a few errands before our company arrived...AND..guess what...I got a little surprise at work.....

It was finally time for our company...Holly and Aaron Barr came to visit Landri for the first time. They live in Virginia so it is very hard for us to see each other with our busy schedules...but we are going to have to start trying a little harder because we want them to get to know Landri and soon they are going to have a new little baby that we are going to want to get to know! So you can guess...Holly and I talked a lot of baby talk! :) Holly and Aaron get to find out what they are having Oct. 26, 2009. We are so excited for them! We can't wait to find out who Landri will get to play with...will it be a BOY or a GIRL?!?

Not only did we have wonderful company this weekend but Ryan had his Fantasy football draft at the house. I was in charge of making snacks for the boys! Well...I thought it would be a piece of cake because Landri ALWAYS takes a good afternoon nap....BOY WAS I WRONG!! She was so funny today she didn't want to miss out on anything. She was up all afternoon and she was such an angel..talking and giggling! She got to play with Daddy a lot today because I was busy in the kitchen.

Finally, Daddy began his football draft and I got to have mommy and Landri time! :) MY FAVORITE TIME OF THE DAY! We played a little bit and then it was time for her first meal...green beans! It started off a little rough and then she decided she LOVED them!!
